The 2022 issue is one chapter in the series. The Perth Mint introduced its rectangular Dragon bullion coin in 2018. Each dated issue contains one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, carries Australian legal-tender status, and uses an annually changing Eastern dragon design.
The flat rectangular silhouette makes the series easy to store like a bar, while the denomination, annual date, limited mintage, and changing artwork make it function as a collectible coin series.
