This 100 oz record represents the 100 oz Britannia Bar format. The Royal Mint extended Britannia from sovereign coins into investment bars, using Jody Clark’s interpretation of the helmeted figure against flowing wave fields. The bars are .999 fine silver and translate a national coinage symbol into a rectangular bullion format.

The dense surface pattern is decorative and security-minded: fine lines are harder to reproduce convincingly than a blank field. Different weights preserve the same visual language, so the design remains recognizable whether held as a compact one-ounce bar or a large-format piece.
