This 100 oz record represents the 100 oz Silver Bar format. Sunshine Minting’s branded silver bars place the MintMark SI feature in the reverse pattern. Viewed through the company’s decoder lens, the mark reveals a changing validation image intended to make casual counterfeiting more difficult.
The eagle hallmark and repeating security field stay consistent across multiple weights, giving the family a practical stacking identity. Sunshine also manufactures planchets for institutional customers, so its retail bars represent one visible part of a larger minting operation.
